“From a reviewer who hates superlatives, Sirens is no less than an amazing accomplishment”
                                                   -Adam Garrett, Columbus Alive

Sirens is comprised of Kay Harris and Molly Pauken, two of Ohio's most sought after studio and live-performance musicians.  In addition to writing and performing their own music, Kay and Molly lend their vocal and instrumental talents to all varieties of CD and demo projects.

Sirens music is all about the unique melody, the expression through lyric & voice and the texture of acoustic guitar & bass coming together to create unique but timeless pop songs. Their original compositions range stylistically from pop to acoustic rock to blues to funk to folk to create Sirens' own unique sound.

In addition to performing as a duo, they also frequently perform as a quartet with Pete Cary on guitar, bass and vocals and Jeff Peters on drums and percussion, and as a quintet with Craig Markley on Keyboards and Accordion.  Their energy and passion for music, will likely draw you in and bring you back for more!  If you haven't seen Sirens live, check out their performance schedule

The first Harris/Pauken collaboration "Could've Been Mojo" is featured on Molly's solo disc. The two have been writing and performing their own original music ever since!

Molly Pauken
Multi-instrumentalist Molly Pauken has played bass, guitar, drums and mandolin in a number of Columbus-based bands, covering a wide range of musical styles. In addition to Sirens, Molly plays with McGuffey Lane, The Ladies of Longford, The John Schwab Band, Jonalee White, and various other area artists. As a top-demand session musician, Molly can be heard on hundreds of CD and demo projects. In March of 1996 Molly released her first solo recording "Her Kaleidoscope", which featured the first Harris/Pauken collaboration, "Could've Been Mojo". The all original album displays Molly's jazz, R&B, fusion and Brazilian influences. "Her Kaleidoscope" was praised in Nashville's Music Row Magazine, as well as many other Central Ohio and national publications.

"Pauken shines on bass and guitar, and turns in a couple of solid drum tracks too. Molly's bass work is killer!  Serious slap-style funk grooves, cohesive compositional style."
